What is Bend?

Bend is also called hot induction bend. Actually it is a type of elbow with more than 1.5D radius such as 2D, 2.5D, 3D, 4D, 5D etc. The degrees of bends are most commonly available in 30º, 45º, and 90º, certainly other degrees are available as well.
Bend is the same as the elbow which commonly can be made of carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel by hot induction process. High frequency heating has fast heating speed and heating uniformity features that will effectively control the temperature of pipes to avoid situations too hot or too cold to guarantee the bending quality.
High frequency hot induction bend is a very common piping material. It has a wide application range that refers to petroleum, chemical industry, power, aviation, ship building, paper production and so on. High frequency hot induction bend is particularly important in some special cases because it has many kinds of radius, uniform wall thickness and accurate bending angle features.

High frequency hot induction is the most common process to manufacture pipe bend. This process mainly includes choosing raw materials, heating, bending, cooling and amending etc. It is a highly effective way to produce pipe bends and the bends have uniform wall thickness and exact angle.
