What is Nipple?

Nipple here only means threaded nipple. Threaded nipple is a pipe component with thread that is very common in the industries and life. Thread nipples can save much more cost of pipeline connection due to they make the connection, disassembly and replacement more simple and easy.
Thread nipples usually are manufactured through steel pipes or forging process and machining. Threaded nipples mainly include straight pipe nipple, hexagonal threaded nipple, and hexagonal head bushing. Straight pipe nipple is made of steel pipe, hexagonal nipple and hexagonal head bushing are forging process.
The materials of threaded nipple that are used for industry purpose commonly include carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, copper and other metals. And for life purpose the materials refer to PC、PVC、PE、PPR and so on.

Quality Assurance
1) Raw materials inspection: According to CQ system and reference standards, conducting chemical analysis and mechanical property testing. If qualified, the raw materials will be entered the warehousing management.
2) Production guarantee: All threaded nipples are manufactured according to the international standards. Our plant has production experience for over 40 years, and there is a professional technical team to take charge all production processes and ensure the quality of product delivery.
3) Heat treatment testing: Heating temperature and cooling time are the key points for heat treatment testing. As for threaded nipple, it is necessary to proceed with the heat treatment 100% in order to get better mechanical properties and reduce the stress.
4) 100% inspection before delivery: Testing items include thread type, size, hardness, diameter, wall thickness, length, etc, as well as DNT inspection and Mechanical testing, etc.
